HRB: 200 Foundations of Herbalism

An introductory course that focuses on the fundamental knowledge needed to begin advanced course work and practice in professional evidenced based clinical herbal medicine. This course focuses on anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology for herbalist, introductory materia medica, herbal medicine terminology, and the preparation of herbal medicine . This course also includes lecture in first aid, pharmacology, and common diseases and injuries.
 
Disclaimer- herbalism is not a regulated field in the United States. This course does not qualify you to be a naturopathic doctor,  you still need to go obtain your bachelors degree to be able to legally practice medicine.
